The Bengal tiger is the largest cat species in the world. I photographed this one at the Singapore Zoo, resting low in a dark pool with that steady, unbothered stare only a tiger can pull off. The glowing orange coat, deep black water, and direct eye contact made the whole scene feel powerful, quiet, and impossible to walk away from.
This was not a wild tiger in the forest, and I think that honesty matters. There is something deeply moving about seeing an animal built for wild places resting in a managed space. This original big cat note card is printed on premium Red River linen cardstock, blank inside for a handwritten note, with a matching envelope and sleeve.
- Original Bengal tiger portrait photograph by Linda Nee, shot at Singapore Zoo
- Printed on premium Red River linen cardstock with a textured finish
- Blank inside for a handwritten note
- White envelope and protective cellophane sleeve included
- 5x7 size, ready to mail, gift, or frame
- Works as a birthday card, encouragement card, thank-you note, or big cat lover gift
About this Card
About this Card
Portrait orientation with the tiger's face filling the lower half of the frame, head resting near dark water with its reflection below and bold orange-and-black striped back rising behind. The near-black background gives the image a moody, dramatic quality while the direct gaze creates real presence at card scale — this is not a card people glance at and set aside.
On linen cardstock the deep blacks, rich oranges, and white whisker detail feel dense and striking with a warm tactile finish.
A natural fit for tiger lovers, big cat fans, wildlife photography collectors, conservation-minded animal lovers, and anyone drawn to dramatic animal portraiture. Works as a birthday card, thinking-of-you note, encouragement card, or standout gift for wildlife lovers and photographers. Available in 5x7.
What to love about this card:
- Portrait orientation with a Bengal tiger resting low in dark water, full direct gaze, bold stripes filling the frame
