This original wildlife greeting card features a wild Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) mother and her curious baby at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve in Singapore. The mother sits calmly watchful while the baby reaches toward the grass beside her, curious but still safely sheltered by her body. A simple scene with a universal feeling: the steady presence that lets someone take their first brave steps.
I print every 5 x 7 blank greeting card in my Henniker studio on heavyweight Red River Linen cardstock, holding the soft fur detail, the warm green rainforest, and the quiet trust between mother and curious baby. Each note card ships flat with a matching envelope and protective sleeve, ready to send as an encouragement note, support message, milestone card, or thinking-of-you greeting.
About this Card
About this Card
This Macaque Mother and Curious Baby greeting card pairs original Singapore wildlife photography with luxury linen cardstock. A clean white border frames the photograph on the front, presenting the moment of supported curiosity: the mother's quiet watchfulness, the baby's small reach toward the world beyond her arm, and the soft green rainforest around them.
The 5 x 7 size fits any standard frame for display as nursery wall art or wildlife photo decor after the message is read. The card works as a blank encouragement note, support message for someone facing change, milestone congratulations, thinking-of-you card, or "you've got this" greeting for a friend, family member, or anyone starting something new with someone they trust beside them.
Every 5 x 7 blank note card is printed to order and made to keep:
- Folded card on heavyweight Red River Linen cardstock with a subtle woven finish
- Archival inks printed to last, holding rich color without fading
- Blank inside for your own personal message
- Matching envelope and protective sleeve included with every order
- Arrives flat and pristine in a rigid mailer
The Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis), also called the Crab-eating Macaque, is a social primate native to Southeast Asia. Infants stay close to their mothers throughout the first year of life but gradually begin reaching outward to explore the forest around them. This balance between protection and discovery is one of the most universal patterns in mammal parenting, and one of the most quietly moving to witness in the wild.
This mother and curious baby were photographed at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, one of Singapore's last remaining pockets of primary rainforest, surrounded by a modern city. Original wildlife photography from Linda Nee, available as a paired set with the Long-tailed Macaque with Curious Infant fine art photography print of the same image.
