This black bear was as surprised to see me as I was to see him! This big guy was having a feast on salmon eggs, yes, just the eggs. I watched him for several hours as he went to the stream and snatched up a salmon. He then proceeded to the upper bank, dropped the salmon, and pressed on the belly to extrude the eggs. It looked like a salmon slaughterhouse!
What an incredible site to witness.
